Join us in welcoming @jhordan_lunarte Jhordan Lunarte, a multidisciplinary artist from Brazil, for a special Capoeira Vogue workshop. As a leader within the Capoeira collective @capoeiraparatodes Capoeira Para Todes and one of the precursors of the Capoeira Vogue movement in Brazil, Jhordan brings together Capoeira, Ballroom culture, Afro-Brazilian ancestry, and contemporary artistic practices.
This is an invitation to move, connect, and experience the dialogue between these traditions in a space that centers care, creativity, and collective empowerment. Jhordan’s work is dedicated to making movement and cultural exchange accessible while uplifting Black, LGBTQIAPN+, and other historically marginalized communities. Whether you’re rooted in Ballroom, Capoeira, both, or simply curious to experience this unique practice, be welcome!
